Audition Requirements:
Strings, Woodwinds & Brass
            2-3 octave Major and Minor Scale (mm=100)
            Perform a movement from a concerto or solo work
Percussion
            Demonstrate Basic Rudiments
*Musicians will also be required to sight-read

Prerequisites and Special Requirements:
Previous training on your instrument and an audition with the orchestra conductors. Enrollment in school instrumental music program is encouraged if one is available. Membership in the SCYSO is not intended to replace such participation.

Tuition & Fees Policy:

Tuition is $300/semester along with a $35/semester music fee. Tuition includes all rehearsals, workshops and performances. The music fee (due at the first rehearsal) covers the cost associated with  purchasing/renting  music for each semester.
